Re: [Wanted] Falcon Video Cards
I have Eclipse in unidentified state. I have no cables for it (I'm not sure), I didn't manage to launch it anyway it, at some point I even returned it to BSS, they didn't help me at all and didn't want to return money. I can sell it, because I don't need it anymore.

Re: Epson GT 10000 - Drivers?
@rustynutt it didn't work. In general I've tried with internal (enabled on scanner side) /external scsi termination (terminator plugged on second scsi port), I've changed scsi ports. Gdps drivers don't work (two bombs on device selection), gtlook II hangs after selecting scsi and setting ok, gtscan ...

For Sale: Falcon CTPCI (burned PLX)
I have for sale CTPCI for Atari Falcon030 with ct60 without ribbon cables. It has burned PLX chip (probably) - ethernet card was incorrectly inserted, so it needs to be replaced. I've contacted R. Czuba years ago about the repair and it turned out to be 20eur for PLX + 60eur replacement + shipping. ...

Re: Epson GT 10000 - Drivers?
no internal scsi setup, gtlook II just hangs after selecting scsi in dialog and clicking ok. Other apps like gt scan or gdps react with two bombs, when trying to detect device.

Re: Epson GT 10000 - Drivers?
Epson is the only device i have on scsi bus. Termination is enabled on scanner (according to manual it should be set, because this is the last device). Scanner itself behaves correctly on startup, so this looks fine. Hd driver detects scanner correctly on id 2(default scsi id). Falcon has clock patc...

GDPS also gives problems, two bombs every time I try to install/select scsi device.

Re: Epson GT 10000 - Drivers?
@kroll thanks, if you could tell me how it is connected, configured on your f030 (special tools/auto prgs / drivers etc) it would be great. I have to try gdps drivers and scanx. Anyone has a copy?

Re: Epson GT 10000 - Drivers?
Anyone has tried GT LOOK II with Falcon030? I've got Epson GT9000, but after choosing scsi interface everything hangs. HD driver (latest version) detects scanner without problems. GT scan just bombs(2 bombs). Anyone had similar issues before?

Remake is in c#, so to port it to atari everything had to be rewritten/reworked to c/asm. Not to mention that whole thing is still unfinished.

@MegaSTEarian mega ste has less ram, because of part of address space is occupied by vme, so full 8mib cannot be used.

Re: New Internal Falcon PSU for CT60, CT60e, CT63...
Thanks! Good job! Just a few side notes: With CT60PSU, you no longer need to connect FDD pigtail cable from Falcon mainboard to CT60. CT60PSU takes care of that - notice it has two leads: one goes to CT60, the other connects 5V and 12V to mainboard. Thus, above mentioned connection is redundant and ...

Re: New Internal Falcon PSU for CT60, CT60e, CT63...
I've managed to modify this psu and connect it to more devices and use it with Supervidel. See here (everything looks like home made bomb) link . Don't mind burns on heatshrink tubings (I shrinked them with simple matches). In short psu might be better with: more sturdy power button / socket mount (...

@alanh Will there be posibility to update MegaSTE MonSTEr firmware somehow? If I remember correctly you have made some improvements at some point (,but I'm not sure how crucial it was and what was actually improved).

Re: TT FAQ: "Wait states off MCU msb (7) never set" diagnostics message => Harmless
maybe there is possibility to remove completely waitstates like on f030, that would be cool. But probably faster rom would be needed.

Re: New Atari Mega style case for STF / STFM / STE and Falcon, Maybe
10p6: I think that space for cd rom in f030 is redundant, I would rather see an external cf/sd slot (so there would be internal hdd and additional mounted on cf for data exchange with pc). I also don't like the sign, case would be better without it. Additionally please take into consideration place ...

Re: Atari mouse STM1 with laser.
Amiga store has them very overpriced, Lavago too. You could buy it buy directly from Spain: https://www.jesusdelatorre.com/showproduct.php?productID=64 . One downside is that some STM1 models has ball socket integrated with a case, but for Mitsumi needs nearly no adjustments (maybe except wiring whi...

Thanks, I'm not hardware expert / electric engineering guy, sorry. I'm programming printer port for a first time. falcon printer port ACK and select
Hi,
anyone knows how to set state of ack/select pins on printer port (present in official falcon manual)? I've looked in hardware.txt, but I haven't seen any mention of it.

Re: Atari TT internal/external floppy issues
[img]unfortunately i don't have one. Led is blinking, but only once at start, but motor doesn't spin and system reports that disc is damaged. Toggling 7th dip switch on mb didn't help too (i've read somewhere that it togles between hd/dd). Ym2149 was replaced once on this mb many years ago and mfp (...
