Mr.JT wrote: Mon Mar 20, 2023 10:07 pm Interesting! Did ST external keyboards include mouse ports? (Ie., is the answer to using an external mouse using an external keyboard with a mouse plugged into it?).
yes,

instead of external keyboard plus mouse you can use Eiffel interface with USB

Re: STBook Mouse

I see keypad port on the right side, and it seems this is a port for mouse:

---EDIT---
it is a regular Mega ST/TT keyboard port:

Re: Diamond Edge now GPL

Following on from my post of 2017 ... I've now uploaded the CHANGES.TXT file to the DOC folder of the Diamond Edge source code repository. It's really mostly of historical interest - who really cares about bugs in someone else's software that I fixed 20 years ago - but I did promise, so here it is....

Uwe writes about it here: https://www.hddriver.net/en/piscsi_icd.html
I see there info about Mega STE ACSI to SCSI adapter. And I mean Pi connected directly to ACSI bus.

I can give write access to some trusted people (e.g. made many posts on this forum), who want to contribute or administrate that mirror. Re: Enhanced/Improved ST motherboard - H5 Phoenix Project

Cyprian says soldering a 144 pin QFP package (MCU/Glue) is as simple as a 16 pin DIP package - I thoroughly disagree! I could not disagree more. How much emphasis can I put on that? lol :D I didn't say anything like that. Read my comment again carefully. Also you're both misunderstanding what the H...

Re: Final Fight (arcade) for the Atari STE/Falcon030

Short update: the program now runs on the Falcon 030 as well. In fact the code was running already on the Falcon but it was impossible to start and it "waits" infinitely for something. The game did not crash at all so it was not easy to find the reason just by comparing the lenghty trace ...

Re: Enhanced/Improved ST motherboard - H5 Phoenix Project

It's a very good project and kudos to Exxos for seeing the development through. I own a mainboard but just haven't had time to build it up. As with all things, time is in short supply. It would be nice to see an STE version though. I keep seeing people ask for an STE version though, why do you thin...

Re: Enhanced/Improved ST motherboard - H5 Phoenix Project

For some strange reason there is little to no talk of the following project - the H5 Phoenix motherboard (Atari ST Remake Project) by Exxos. great project, I observe it on Exxos forum. I would die for a motherboard which has short ST form factor. Also project reworking STe board would be cool. I'm ...

Re: New 68k core in mame

Also the 68020+ are frighteningly big compared to the 68000. Took me a couple of years to fully vectorize and cleanup the 68000 schematic and the 020 has roughly five times more transistors. So even if we had high-resolution delayered die shots (we don't), it could take a little while. https://og.k...

AGT is the way to go if you want to use it as a library and highly recommended as a toolset for Atari STE development in general. Doug did a great job on that for sure. But if someone here wan't to test it, I will be happy to share a download link before the final release....
