Re: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - STE enhanced (WIP)
Looking good! The flickering rasters reminded me of this old thread relating to e-clock jitter https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=23423

Re: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - STE enhanced (WIP)

Re: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - STE enhanced (WIP)
Great to see the updates. I am wondering if there would be an advantage of using the hardware scrolling to do screen splits on the HBL to move the mountains/road ? I imagine this would make plotting objects a bit trickier due to the different screen width(s) but could also mean not worrying about cl...

Re: Understanding calls to WD1772 controller in game code
I don't understand the above but register 14 in the PSG has a role in disk access for drive select etc. I have read elsewhere that some sneaky copy protections are sometimes hidden in music routines as the YM registers don't look so out of place there.

Re: My CosmosEx doesn't work anymore after updating it
I wonder if it would be possible to store the .img on an USB stick and install Raspbian from this kind of media? Remember you are installing it to the SD card inside the Raspberry Pi so part disassembly of the Cosmosex to gain access and then removal of that card followed by writing the image to it...

Re: My CosmosEx doesn't work anymore after updating it
I messed mine up a couple of years ago and wrote the newer raspian image from jookie's site on to to the pi's SD card which got it going again. I had the older Yokto one before that. I think the script having some bugs was mentioned in another thread but as I didn't know how to sort it via command l...

Re: Copyright for SNDH Music? Would this bother anyone?
I wonder if Nina got royalties from David's 99 red balloons cover in lazy Jones 😂 I think there was another Eurythymics influenced tune in the game too. Such an awesome soundtrack on that game, some one should port it to ST as there is an MSX version using AY chip, I wonder if his driver fir the ST...

Noisetracker was the first proper tracker I seen and used and a great thing to mess around with my mastersound samples with. Other than that I also used the amazing Quartet, not so much a tracker I guess though.. The info on DHS seems to reckon Sound Machine was an earlier digital tracker. I think s...
