Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository
I tried to image Premier Manager II with my scp device, but it doesn't appear successful. Could someone look at the flux image and maybe see what is happening? Here is the link to the images: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eav5q518ga0rdnb/PMII.zip?dl=1 Thanks! The answer : Track 57.0 requires a clean up...

Re: [Tool] Atari ST Harddisk menu
There could be several ways to make the NEO images depending on the OS. However, taking the actual game snapshot is probably best done in an emulator or by using existing screenshots found on the Internet. As posted earlier in the thread, when using linux, there is a way to convert PNG files to NEO ...

Re: [Tool] Atari ST Harddisk menu
To use the screenshot feature to see an example picture of each game, the menu needs to find a NEO format image in the game directory. It's a lot of work to create all the NEO images, so here is an archive with many of them ready to use with ppera's game archive and some d-bug/klaz releases. https:/...

It's all good my friend. If it wasn't clear before I think the H5 is a great project and accomplishment. The options and expandability are intriguing and looking forward to getting mine built

Re: Enhanced/Improved ST motherboard - H5 Phoenix Project
It's a very good project and kudos to Exxos for seeing the development through. I own a mainboard but just haven't had time to build it up. As with all things, time is in short supply. It would be nice to see an STE version though. I keep seeing people ask for an STE version though, why do you thin...

Re: PAK68/3 with PuPla/2 == DMA floppy problems
Well, unfortunately my Pak machine is packed up atm (no pun intended). When I was experiencing the floppy issues, the only things I did were to add the pull-ups and remove the J6 jumper and it seemed the J6 jumper did the trick. Other than that it just worked. Oh, one other thing I had done was to c...

Re: Hatari GEMDOS and Frename()
This is not mentioned in TOS hyp: https://freemint.github.io/tos.hyp/en/gemdos_file.html#Frename It's just the explanation that is misleading. TOS will return EACCDN if the file exists, whether read-only or not. Yes, the non-E_OK TOS return value on real hardware value was interpreted as an error i...

Hatari GEMDOS and Frename()
I came across an issue with using Frename() on a GEMDOS drive. If I rename a file to a new filename but that filename already exists, Hatari overwrites the existing file. On real hardware, that situation causes an error and requires an Fdelete() on the existing file before the Frename(). Is this a k...

Also new addition for next release - when choosing a save state to load, the internal screen memory of the save state will be displayed. The is useful to know where the game was actually stopped at for the state save i.e. to see what level the game was saved at, etc.

Re: [Tool] Atari ST Harddisk menu
Yes, ssb put that method of searching in from his original release. Just press F3 and you can type a string to search for. F4 will repeat the search. So the program has the F3/F4 searching and my addition that I call "real-time" searching where the user can simply type a number of characte...

Re: [Tool] Atari ST Harddisk menu
Test version now has the option to automatically sort the list alphabetically. Useful if the CSV file is unsorted. Currently, to sort the list, the user has to enter the conguration screen F2 and turn the sorting on as the default is set to off. This option is saved in the user's config file so that...

Yes, if you have a spare working keyboard, it might be helpful to swap it in just to make sure the keyboard isn't bad.
