I re-did the diff and indeed these MSAFILES are not seen as different anymore, not sure what I did wrong the first time around! Thanks for double-checking.

Re: Found! 1997 CD-R full of Atari ST menu disks from Alien (Pompey Pirates)
I'll have another look. I just mounted the CD on Linux as usual (just the mount command without specifying the FS type which is detected as iso9660). I checked the files content with hexdump -C which just showed zeroes. Maybe I did something wrong.

Re: Found! 1997 CD-R full of Atari ST menu disks from Alien (Pompey Pirates)
They look corrupted on your CD actually. In msafiles the files just contain zeroes (i.e. they are not empty, but are filled with zeroes). The utils/st/* ones are empty (size = 0)...

The AtariLegend site is now open source!
Hi all, As posted in the AL news: The code for the AtariLegend website is now open-source! It always was our desire for AtariLegend to be an open project, that's why we started sharing full database dumps in 2018. We wanted to open the code as well for a long time, but it took some time to reach tha...

Re: SSL certificate chain borked
Same for me, although worse because Feedly completely refuses to load the feeds because of this. I did not realize until a few days I was surprised to not have seen anything from the forum feeds since a while... The certificate was renewed in May, something presumably changed in the configuration. C...

Hi, Shameless plug ;) you may be interested in this: http://atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=37590&p=384904#p383667 . It also contains an archive of all the YM files I could find online. It's on GitHub so very open to contributions. I made it also on the same feeling as you that the YM format ha...

Re: Browser based YM jukebox
I added a button in the playlist screen to enqueue 100 random songs (can be clicked multiple times). The random selection is pretty naive and may yield duplicates for now. And yeah there's something wrong with the playback. I don't think it's faster, but the pitch is different and there's something ...

Re: Browser based YM jukebox
Thanks! I knew about the Emscripten port of sc68 actually, but I didn't know about the other links, I'll check them out. Mine is also an Emscripten port of the Leonard YM library. For IE11 I'm not surprised, it's just too old, it would be too much effort to support it. Event Microsoft doesn't want y...

Browser based YM jukebox
Hi all, I've been working on a web-browser based YM jukebox and I finally have a first version available. You can find it here: https://nguillaumin.github.io/ym-jukebox/ It's pretty basic for now and lacking important features (search for example), but it's a start. At least now you can easily liste...

Ok, Atari CI builds are working again, but noone was able to test them: https://ci.netsurf-browser.org/builds/atari/
Could someone familiar with NetSurf test it and report there or on #netsurf on Freenode?
Thanks!

Thanks, That won't fix their toolchain, since they don't use that port I meant fixing in the broad sense of the term, if we can't make their toolchain work we could switch to another one. Thanks for the extra links about the alternative versions. I went to their IRC channel to ask, and indeed someon...

Actually, it loos like someone fixed the toolchain in Feb 2019: https://ci.netsurf-browser.org/jenkins/ ... tari-mint/ . So perhaps it's just a matter of re-enable the build in their Jenkins.

Besides privacy/integrity/security reasons, what would the main motivation/benefit be for Atari-Forum end-users? Well for one if it's not over HTTPS anyone can steal your username/password by just listening to the network traffic. If you reuse this username/password combination elsewhere, you're do...

Small update on this, the listings now have syntax highlighting. It's minor, but that make them a bit more readable. syntax.png It took me a while get all the pieces together, I had to start by contributing the m68k syntax to one of the syntax highlighter used by AsciiDoctor! https://nguillaumin.git...

Nice work! How did you do it, did you have access to the original DB? Re: foss-north 2018: Atari ST Free Operating Systems
Hey awesome talk to get a good overview of the community efforts around the Atari! I was always a bit confused with AES, VDI, Mint and stuff (having mostly used STs) and that cleared up a lot of things! The hardware part was really interesting too!
Thank you very much for sharing! Merci!
