Brexit and purchasing

Hi, I know the market for Atari items purchased from stores is not the biggest market but there is confusion around the laws, import/export duties and fees. The UK government has a distinction between online marketplaces (and offline!?) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vat-and-overseas-goods-sold-to-cust...

Re: Have a look at my new "back panel" for my Falcon060

I built a small circuit board that sits on the motherboard keyboard connector. The PCB has two pin header type of connectors, one for the built-in keyboard and one for the 6p6c jack. The PCB allows me to use a switch between the internal and external keyboard using the switch (under the power switc...

Re: Have a look at my new "back panel" for my Falcon060

Hey Daniel, nice mods!
How did you connect the keyboard pins on the motherboard to the 6p6c jack (rj11)?
Did you use a keyboard connector (like on the original Falcon keyboard) that was soldered to the 6p6c jack?

Nice going! So you've hit all your targets/goals??
So the ram is FastRAM @ 60ns?
Can you run NemBench 2.1? Would be interesting to see the figures. Great work.

Re: Why no SuperVidel

I wonder how many genuinely would want SV? With 400 CT60/63s and 200 CT60e's made, with 195 CTPCIs - there were 100 SVs made by Nature (HW: Torbjörn and Henrik SW:Peter) but about circa 95+ sold and there were a few with faults etc. So in theory < 310 people can use SV (as they have nothing for thei...

Talking of disks - just the Cubase disks have come up on eBay. I checked and there is no manual or dongle, just the license and disks:

Thanks Kroll for getting this magazine together. I also want to thank you for helping me as the eBay and amiga.net.pl links died. The new links you told me work, so I will put them here: https://bitronic.pl/index.php?kwt=4019&lng=eng or ebay you buy from: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ATARI-FAN-Magazin...

Just interested in what the way forward for those apps to recognise the USB mouse devices, would they need to be patched?

Great work on the drivers and the webite (and your Clab Mark X case)!
I found a NetUSBee in the cupboard so will be hooking it up soon so will try the drivers.

That's clearer.
So if I gave my STE keyboard a case and an RJ12 male socket would your solution work? Thanks

Re: Atari ST keyboard -> USB interface

Cool. I believe there is a slight difference between TT/MSTE keyboards and STFM/STE/MST? Something to do with the reset lines and a delay needed? https://sites.google.com/site/probehouse/atari-hardware-mods/adapt-st-keyboard-for-tt Would this be required if it was USB? Also using the STE keyboard wo...

Re: What does it say about a Falcon if BadMooD hangs at startup?

JOY from NewBeat seems good for testing Falcons too :-)

With BadMooD I think after setting up the devices and cache it loads the game data with the BadMooD game image.
Maybe its corrupt files / data?

This is what should happen: https://youtu.be/OLHuuAS8t54?t=72

I lost contact with John over 12 years ago but sent a message recently to his many email addresses. I'm not sure many people knew of John but he was positive, friendly and enthused energ...

Just a side note: designing such a case is a complex task so the good planning is essential. You should take all options in account and this one is one of lesser known, but IMO fit for the end-product: https://www.facebook.com/weerg https://www.weerg.com/ Their capabilities and price level open who...
