Wonderboy in Monster land is one of my favourite games, both in the arcades and the ST conversion. Looking forward to this.

Mouse grab on dual monitor

Hello,
I've got a dual monitor setup. I would like to be able to use hatari fullscreen on one monitor and be able to use the other monitor for looking up stuff etc. Is there a way?

And while I am at it, is there a way to paste into Hatari (for example into a text editor)

Re: OutRun, positively surprised

For me the main issue isn't the low framerate or the bad graphics. It's the stop to load on every checkpoint.

Well, I'll raise another point for the desktop image. Removing it seems to have improved performance. Not sure if others have experienced that as well.

Re: Announcing ready to use freemint sd card images for the ST

Works for me. What I see though: The download is over unencrypted HTTP (and not TLS-secured HTTPS). Perhaps your browser is configured to reject HTTP downloads? That's probably it since firefox complained here too. but it let me download it anyway. So, I had a chance to play with it for about an ho...

Re: What Current-Gen gaming consoles are you guys buying?

Well, there is only one answer really. What do his friends own? There is no multiplayer between different platforms so you are pretty much stuck at what your friends have. Anyway, best is a gaming pc, since it can be used for other stuff as well, a Ryzen 5 should allow decent Fortnite, Minecraft and...

It's obvious mpattonm is biased and he aknowledges it. Still, I don't know anyone better to judge a design than a designer and manufacturer of a similar product. Plus, exxos' products are more expensive than the centuriontech products so they are not competative. What I find is also that exxos might...

I wonder if some 3d scenes from demos might be a good alternative. I am thinking of the illusion demo for starters. Maybe it's easier to get hold of the people involved.
Btw I find your videos very interesting. Looking forward to your next one.

Re: *SOLVED* HTTP GET request in HiSoft Basic

Nice! There are two problems, it's next to impossible to find http APIs (not Https) and most of them return JSON so you'd need a JSON parser. It's really cool though.
I wonder if there's something similar for GFA. I ll have to dig a bit...

Re: Why Amiga support more modern software than Atari?

Hello everyone. I was wondering about why Amiga support more modern software/programs and platforms like GTK and Atari doesn't support that :?: Why would you need GTK? Atari has its own UI API which is being extended and upgraded. Also, you do realize that the fastest ST machine runs at 266MHz (Fir...

Re: What would it take?

One of my Mint wishlist things I've mentioned before is some means of loadable library for apps. I think this would make it less painful to port things to Mint instead of being confronted by a mass of dependencies that have to be updated. It might help get more and newer stuff ported to Mint. Was h...

Re: Atari extensions assign to Hatari Linux ?

Hatari can be called by cli. It's conceivable that you can create a script that will read the filename you click and pass the parameters to hatari so as to do the appropriate actions. For example if you want to autoload a program, you can have it open hatari and write the program to execute on newde...

Gem are generally gem metafile images. I think atari works can open them or maybe an image viewer like gemview. Doc could be anything from Microsoft write to 1st word plus. The latter is more likely.
