Not sure if it mentions the restart key, but everything else is there, plus tips, in a few posts.

Re: G.I.S.T. for GFA pascal or c

It's buried on the Daily Double game disk - http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st ... 21205.html

Edit: Found it buried in a massive collection of .ST disk images. I've converted it to a .ZIP for you.

Re: John Mcloud's software (JML-snap, McBoot etc)

Can someone who has the tools, merge them with keys as text files and put them into the "abandoned software" thread?

Re: The code generated from the contents of memory locations

This will be what the bytes look like as if they were instructions. The disassembler you're using doesn't know what the bytes represent unless you tell it to, e.g. using something like Easyrider 4.

My RSC files from my old (old!) projects of yesteryear. Quite a lot were used with Professional Virus Killer v2.x and its associated programs. Also includes the old RSC creation tool I used to use - there's probably better tools, but this is the one I always used. https://www.dropbox.com/s/o1zvu2udp...

Aw bless. My old scanner - I think I still have it somewhere. But that 160gb SATA drive is long gone. All my drives are a bit bigger 13 years later :-)

Re: File attachments.

I've looked inside the PHP settings for the forum and the limit is set to 4mb, not 400K. This applies whether it's a post or a message.

If there's any troubles with this then send a message to Dal. I'm just reading from the Admin panel.

Re: A tool that automatically rips Atari ST cracktros that are not in file form

Back To The Future 3 (Replicants) just ripped with ease. Many thanks for this tool Orion :) This one is interesting because the boot sector contains a protection, a TVD routine that checks the integrity of the cracktro. Illegal was really a nasty cracker! (and one of the best) :) -- Orion He certai...

Re: A tool that automatically rips Atari ST cracktros that are not in file form

I only use UIS3 under STEEM to make it easier to navigate through my badly organised C, D & E drives :)

I'll remove that from the AUTO folder and try again.

Re: A tool that automatically rips Atari ST cracktros that are not in file form

First attempt at using it under STEEM and I get "Critical vectors in low memory" and it's back to the desktop after pressing a key :(

Tried both TOS v1.04 (STFM) and a TOS v1.62 (STE) setup. Both with simulated 2MB of memory.

I'm going back through mine but this time testing them on a 1040STE and making sure I don't waste time by imaging up corrupted disks. Plus it gives me a pile of disks to test the write back of working images :)

Re: Steem - Can I use a USB floppy drive?

It probably won't work. Can your PC read the files via Windows when it's connected to the USB? If so, maybe copy them direct to Windows, then use STEEM to put them back into a .ST disk image file. Other than the above, you need to find someone local to you with an older Windows XP (or 98) PC which h...

Re: Petari's HD adapted games images

Quick question. What are the steps to install the PP HDD Driver which I have licensed on this image? I would use STeem to copy the driver to a floppy disk image. Boot up the disk image and attach the hard-drive image. It should recognise the partition(s) and work. This is a theory though as I use a...

Re: Transfer notator disks for use on gotek

I used Steem. I copied the contents of the ZIPs into four separate folders on my emulated hard-drive. Then created 4 x blank disk images using STeem's disk manager (making sure I used the .ST format). Inserted each disk, copied the files across and rinse and repeat. Then uploaded them here.
