Re: atari st menus

It looks like it's every menu that was collected and uploaded to the old Brume site and are now on Atari Legend's site.

@dfrsilver - just uploaded a redone GW and a KF version of Carvup. I'll attempt Personal Knightmare disks 1-4 in KF and redo Disk 5 in both formats next.

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

I've added Personal Nightmare (5 Disks) and Carvup (1 Disk) to the repository. Both in GW format.

Note: Personal Nightmare is p/w protected and needs the manual. That can be found here -> http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st ... 10208.html

Re: Miami Vice - character card

I had a quick look using Easyrider on MV.PRG too. I did it a different way, and it's not a tested fix, but a theory. I found the "Enter code", "Try again" and "Nice try son, but you're outta here" type messages and relabelled them. Looking through the code that checks the letter entered, I think I'v...

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

Hi Mug! Nope, zero problems with the side2 folders of any ST Format, ST User or ST Action disks. (They all used a side2 folder early on) And, I've tested them with emulation too, and side1 is properly visible on the single sided disks, and both sides, with a double sided drive is set. What sort of ...

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

I ran gw clean on a cleaning disk with isopropanol applied to both sides. Then tried STA 39 again, with the same results. It could be that all of these disks that came from the wooden box I bought are all mouldy as they had been in the lady's loft. I'll dig out my other set of cover disks and see i...

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

When you were doing the ST Action cover disks, did you encounter any problems with the SIDE2 folder not being accessible? It's a problem I'm (and only I'm) having with some recent disks bought. Posted about it in the Greaseweazle FB forum and my next step is to clean my floppy drive and the disks a...

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

There is another title by LCL (again, written in older STOS, so wasn't STE compatible), but it was written to my "restoration PC" hard disk over a bad sector and I need to redo the disk image. There was also "Spell!" by Database Software, but that needs the disk cleaning before doing another attempt.

Re: The Pawn - will it run on STE?

It *might* work if you just want to try it as an experiment. But won't you still need the manual to get past the copy protection? Or was that just early Level 9 games?

Naturally, you will have to change the folder locations of your TOS and where the two .IMG files are locat...

Re: The SECRET VIDEO MODE in an ST: 400 lines in COLOR (and with 72 Hz)!

When Klaz was doing his hard-disk adapted games way back when, he said a few wouldn't work on the TT because there was no way the bottom border could be removed. I think it was Turrican that he attempted, but I could be wrong. Just to clarify: This thread isn't about border removal. More than aware...

Found them buried on a backup drive and uploaded to my DropBox. This is all four packs merged into a single zip @ 103Mb. There are 4 separate text files listing the contents as I was too lazy to merge them into one :)
