After a year of not having a way to get files to my STe. I have been able to try the newest version on my Mega STe.

Amazing being able to play Day of the Tentacle on my Mega with voices and music. :D If Sam & Max compatibility would happen that would make the tears welling from my eyes be even more. ;)

It is really warming to my heart to be able to play the games I love on my PC I love. :D

Thank you for the hard work!

HI there, I have build the Ultimate Talkie version but I'm not getting speech on my STE, I'm doing something wrong? Do I need a MONKEY.SOU file in addition to the MONKEY.SOG generated?

Hi! I have an 520 STE with 4Mb and ACSI2STM hard drive. I can run the games (I have tried MI1, MI2 and Indy) with MIDI and Talkie versions, but I'm always getting BOMBS (4 bombs to be exact) randomly in the games.
Is this something expected or there is something wrong with my machine? I have played many other games without issues.

Thanks in advance,

PS: I'm playing the SPANISH version of the games, don't know if that changes anything.

Andres.

Just saw a Facebook post advising that a patched version has been added:

http://www.happydaze.se/scummvm-lite-atari/

Due to changes in data formats, this new version will trigger the installation step even if you have an older version already installed.
A windows executable is included that can pre-convert the resource files on a PC if you want to avoid the lengthy Atari installation.

Amazing, just tried it on a stock Falcon setup (Hatari I'm afraid), and performance is on par or better with native MI1. Nice achievement!

"atlantis.prg" & "tentacle.prg" continue working with the demo versions, and "monkey1.prg" still does not work with the demo version of Monkey Island 1.

When testing the more demanding "tentacle.prg" on different Atari machine types in Hatari, the most noticeable performance issue on slower machines (STE) is that text comes so much later than the audio talk, that it's in places completely disconnected from audio. with MegaSTE @ 16Mhz it's so-so, but on Falcon & TT, also the text speed is fine.
