I had a quick look and although the main index lists Atari hardware sections when you click on any it appears to take you to an empty list.....nativ wrote:Hi,

I recently tried buying from this guy - what a nightmare! I emailed with three things I wanted from his list and asked for him to request the total plus shipping via PayPal. I got several very confusing emails back, suggesting lots of different things I didn't want and hadn't asked for. Finally, I got to the bottom of what he had in stock (not what is on his list) and asked to order that one item and mentioned PayPal again. At this point he said he didn't do PayPal. That was enough of that![ProToS] wrote:the "spamer" on csa.st is not this one, it's Bravo Sierra Computers shopPaulB wrote:This guy does spam the newsgroups a bit but he may have whole systems for sale.

Contrast to that excellent, quick, polite and succinct communication and trading from ST Freakz (aka. atarifreakz on eBay). Very much recommended.

Actually Google Language Tools does a passable job of rendering German web sites.RetroGamerUK wrote: Actually, I was wondering whether or not to ask Jens if he would do some brief descriptions of what is available (like the ones i have already done) but in German since the site is of little use to us non-Deutchers..
Or if it would be better to do a description in Engrish then could Jens or someone translate to English for me as I am not sure exactly what they have in stock

If they want to sell things international then there should be atleast an
english version. Think there is a market for this, the old MFM drives all
fail in the end. SATA would even be better since that the new standard.
EDIT: Well Google translate gifs a bit of insight ;(

Re: WHERE TO BUY ST / FALCON / TT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
Although I agree that providing an English site makes good business sense, I've added the site to the list anyway

Re: WHERE TO BUY ST / FALCON / TT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
Hi all,
I have been buying and selling Atari ST software and hardware on Ebay for some time now and have decided to finally open my own online shop.
If you are looking for Atari ST hardware, software or accessories please visit:-
http://www.ataristsales.com
Paypal is used for secure checkout transactions. I am always adding new stock to the website.
The site is currently only accepting UK delivery, however, please email me if you see something you would like to buy. I will be adding postage options to other countries as soon as possible.
Thanks for looking,
John

I only just noticed your question TheNameOfTheGame, I have no idea if they are still in business, the site is still up..
Paskud, although a member here hasn't posted anything since 2007, I am assuming it's his site.
I've sent him a PM passing on your question, I'll give it a few weeks for a reply then let you know either way.

Ok, thanks I emailed him too on the 23rd but have no response. It is maybe an email address he doesn't check often. I saw the website is still up but maybe it is an Internet ghost haha.RetroGamerUK wrote:I only just noticed your question TheNameOfTheGame, I have no idea if they are still in business, the site is still up..

Re: WHERE TO BUY ST / FALCON / TT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
I got loads of Atari hardware I should really sell (finding it hard to part with it). I have STFMs, STEs, MegaSTE, TT, Falcon (with CT60 thing) plus lots of additional hardware bits like a TT Graphics card (I forget what it is called, some 15 or 16 bit thing), a Falcon PCI Graphics card, a 286 Emulator board for Falcon, network cards, cartridges plus loads of stuff I forget now.
I have not seen it for years but I even had a special custom made heat sync that went over the Falcon DSP and its memory (they are different heights), it allowed me to clip on a peltier cooler and heat sync/fan. I had the DSP running at 50Mhz for hours with no crashes (I had to spray the surrounding area with silicon spray as I had a lot of condensation build up).
The falcon is also in a rack mount case, from memory it has an ATX PSU mounted in it and a SSD-IDE hard disk thing (i.e. sold state). I know it is really heavy now.
I also have a load of 68060 processors, they range in ability but I kind of lapped them up at the time. I think I have a couple of rear 68060 75Mhz chips (they are the cut down version without the FPU which is a shame) I think could easily be over clocked to 100Mhz and maybe more... If a bit of raw power is what you need then...
The TT is also overclocked with some board, I think it is 40, 48 or 50Mhz I can't remember. The TT also has German ROMs but I think I have some English ones somewhere. I have the max memory for this as well (is it 16Mb or 4 plus 16 I can't remember).
None of this equipment has been switched on for 10 years so... But if anyone is interested please let me know, I have come to realise that someone else would make better use of it all. I also have stacks of software, ask me I probably have it.
Elliot...

Falcon with CT60 in rack mountable case. Two STFMs, one upgraded lots. My original STE from when I was a teen with Switchable TOS, 1.44Mb drive, 4MB RAM, Supra Hard Drive and very very yellow case. Mega STE with (currently none working) Crazy Dots 2. Atari 2600 and a Jag. And a mountain of commercial software and lots of hardware addons.
