I have created a new ST Action magazine page on my website: https://www.chillichai.com/st-action-archive alongside my ST Review magazine page.

Issue 07 is scanned and now available as PDF for download. Enjoy.

I will be scanning a few and releasing them once scanned.

Nice page, thanks for setting it up. I always wondered why the ST Action magazines seemed to never get a full set scanned. Maybe they are harder to find?

Anyway, I went to your page and was like, wow, the whole set it scanned finally. Then I realized most are just placeholders with the front cover picture haha. Maybe distinguish between which ones are available and which ones are not scanned currently so that is clearer?

Also, why are your links going through google.com and not directly to atarimania or mega?

Are you going to upload the disk images too?
Can I make a suggestion: Upload the demos that were compressed files on the original disks as uncompressed images?

I guess, if you wanted to do everything, you could have the .st, .stx, the uncompressed demo images, and the plain files, along with the .ipfs too??
(A lot of work though!)

I've started making some of the uncompressed disk images myself, too.
One of the disks, Disk 11, has a demo of Saint Dragon, but I haven't been able to get that to write to an (emulated) blank image.
I think that's the only thing I haven't seen from the ST Action disks.

And, also, (I'm full of suggestions ) maybe have a section with the disks, where it displays the disk instructions/pages for each issue?

I don't have any issues scanned yet, but I have some of the disk labels done. You're welcome to use any of those, if you like!

I own the following issues which will be scanned as I get time:
1-5 and 7-29, and I have issue 35 in the post to me.

I am missing the following issues if anyone wants to sell me these:
6, 30-34, 36-67

Scans/PDFs exist (that I know of) for these issues:
1-6, 7, 16, 21-23, 34, 36, 42, 55-61, 64-67, 68

I/we need the following issues which are missing for scanning:
30, 31, 32, 33, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 62, 63

I will look to add the cover disks to the site as well to complete things.

I have now added a coverdisk page on my site with disk scans (where I have them and the ones provided by Mikerochip. Links to .ST files are also available where disk is available. The page is still under development.

Oh boy, what a mess. U.S. Postal Service isn't shipping to Australia at the moment. Crazy. UPS wants $262(!) to ship 10 magazines to Australia lol.

So it seems the magazines will be stuck here for the foreseeable future which is a shame since it would be nice to get them scanned.

Maybe you can try different courier companies? I had a similar experience with UPS, checked others, got like a 1/10th of the UPS prices quote.

Australia closing its international borders had a big impact on delivery from overseas but hopefully this will improve in December when flights resume to more countries. I would say hold on for a month or two and see how shipping costs improve to Oz.

On another note, Issue 10 PDF will be up on my site on the weekend.

Yeah, I imagine the U.S. Postal Service might start shipping again to Australia sometime in December or January. I priced them yesterday just to see and it was $112. Lower than UPS but still a lot for 10 magazines. Not sure of any other carriers here. DHL won't ship there at the moment. I know Fedex won't be cheaper than UPS so I didn't even check them lol.

So it's time to play the waiting game and see if things open up down the road.

No, I found this issue somewhere on the Internet, can't remember where though. I do have this issue somewhere in the post from the UK and if it arrives, I will scan and update the site with the one I scan.

For now I am extracting the pages from the PDF and will re-format the current issue to the same format as the ones I am scanning and sharing.

EDIT: re-formatted issue 35 has now been uploaded and linked on my site.

If anyone has issue 62, could I ask for scans of pages 25 & 26 at 600dpi. I have issue 62 but these pages are missing the bottom portion used to order something from page 25.
