sadly the floppy has long gone. ah well, onwards and upwards.muguk wrote:Ah well .. short of sending the original floppy disk to someone else with an ST to image it up, it's a dead-un. None of the files are working as all give 3 or 4 bombs when loading.

Re: STOS demos from MEGA
Did any of the source codes to these demos ever get released in .BAS format?
Would love to see how they were created.

Re: STOS demos from MEGA
All this STOS stuff needs going on the STOS site, there does not seem to be much there considering what is actually "out there"
There is a huge pile of STOS code in STF coverdiscs and various others, all the PDL's had lots of stos stuff, it all needs sorting out and uploading to the STOS site...
I'm not sure if Lee is updating the site anymore, he is really busy at the moment.. but I am wondering about starting just a simple A-Z list like we have already, put just listing everything in one index page.. then it should be a lot quicker and easier to see what we have and don't have...

Start a new thread on here with a list of what you find has the .BAS files etc. on the disk - that way a list can be generated with ease and then the files hosted at the STOS site?
Main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - digging up bits from my past: Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide). I host a C64 Radio Show for a mate, Max Hall, called the Chip SID Show.
I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in for Word 2007 upwards. A toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Re: STOS demos from MEGA
good idea..
Other than the manual scans, its pretty much ready to be uploaded into a STOS page.. this is not including BAS files yet, just the main STOS kit..
